Best in Dayton Valley, People’s Choice Chili Cook-off!
$15 chili tasting wristband includes tastings and a Vendor Bingo card for a chance to win door prizes.
Chili tasting runs 11:00 AM–2:30 PM, with the People’s Choice winner announced at 3:00 PM.
Enjoy live music by Greg Austin on the patio.
Event takes place inside the Sierra Banquet Room with local vendors, artists, crafters, a raffle, and a silent auction.
Event concludes at 3:00 PM.

Chili Cookers:
Who Makes the Best Chili in Dayton Valley? The 2nd Annual Dayton Valley Chili Showdown is a People’s Choice Cook-Off where local cooks compete for the Best in Dayton Valley traveling trophy.
- Minimum 4 gallons per cooker
- Beans required
- Onsite cooking only
- Setup begins at 7AM and must be completed no later than 8AM
- Guests sample, vote and the winner is announced at 2:30 PM.

UPDATED INFORMATION:
The Health Department has informed us that all chili cookers are now required to obtain a temporary food permit to participate in the event. The cost of the permit is $25, which is paid directly to the Health Department.
What this means for you:
A temporary food permit is required for all chili entries:
The permit fee is $25

Once we receive your ticket, we will add 25 raffle tickets to your check in package.
