  • Who Makes the Best Chili in Dayton Valley?

    The 2nd Annual Dayton Valley Chili Showdown is a People’s Choice Cook-Off where local cooks compete for the Best in Dayton Valley traveling trophy.

    -Minimum 4 gallons per cooker
    -Beans required
    -Onsite cooking only
    -Setup begins at 7AM and must be completed no later than 8AM

    Guests sample, vote and the winner is announced at 2:30 PM. Think you can take the title? Register and bring the heat.

  • Your $250 sponsorship includes:
    Vendor table inside the venue (outdoor option available upon request)
    Logo placement on the winners’ aprons
    Logo featured on event signage throughout the venue
    Logo included on the Bingo Card and in promotional social media posts

  • Vendor Booth Opportunity – Chili Showdown 🌶️

    Showcase your business and connect with the community by becoming a Chili Showdown Vendor. Vendor booths will be set up indoors in the Dayton Valley Golf Club Banquet Room, placing you in a prime location to engage with attendees throughout the event.

    🔹 Guaranteed Foot Traffic – Guests will visit each vendor table to collect stamps on their Chili Showdown Game Card, earning entries for prizes. This encourages meaningful interaction and steady visibility for your business.

Join the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce for Chili Showdown on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Dayton Valley Golf Club.

Best in Dayton Valley, People’s Choice Chili Cook-off!

$15 chili tasting wristband includes tastings and a Vendor Bingo card for a chance to win door prizes.

Chili tasting runs 11:00 AM–2:30 PM, with the People’s Choice winner announced at 3:00 PM.

Enjoy live music by Greg Austin on the patio.

Event takes place inside the Sierra Banquet Room with local vendors, artists, crafters, a raffle, and a silent auction.

Event concludes at 3:00 PM.

UPDATED INFORMATION:

The Health Department has informed us that all chili cookers are now required to obtain a temporary food permit to participate in the event. The cost of the permit is $25, which is paid directly to the Health Department.

What this means for you:

A temporary food permit is required for all chili entries:

The permit fee is $25

The permit is issued by the Health Department    https://nvdpbh.aithent.com/login.aspx?BusinessUnit=EHS (to the Chamber) be sure to choose non-profit permit for $25

       Please send a copy of the permit to director@daytonnvchamber.com

       Once we receive your ticket, we will add 25 raffle tickets to your check           in package.
