Chamber Event - March Madness Chili Cookoff

Join the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce for Chili Madness on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Dayton Valley Golf Club.

Enjoy the excitement of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Second Round of 32 while supporting the Chamber’s "Make a Difference" fund.

• The 101 Bar & Grill opens at 9:00 AM with the first of eight NCAA tournament games scheduled throughout the day.  Arrive early and kick off your morning with a delicious breakfast and meet the chili contenders as they gear up for the "Best in Dayton Valley" People’s Choice Chili Cookoff

• 15$ Chili tasting wrist band includes 5 'Madness' game tickets, play to win prizes , along with a 'Game Card' Bingo raffle entry.

• Chili tasting begins at 11:00 AM and runs until 2:30 PM, with the People’s Choice winner announced at 3:00 PM.

• Outside on the porch live music from the Carson Chandler Band from Noon to 3:00 PM.

• The Madness includes a Human Slot Machine showcasing the Cherrybomb Betties &  a Half Court Cornhole Challenge.

• The "Make a Difference" benefit extends into the Sierra Banquet Room, featuring local businesses/artists/crafters, silent auction, 50/50 drawing.

• Special Game Card Bingo raffle into which all of our Chili Tasters have the opportunity to enter.

• March Madness Championship Game 'Squares' will be available for purchase at the 101 Bar during the event and throughout the NCAA tournament. This is also a 50/50 benefit for the "Make a Difference" community fund. Winners will be notified after the Men's Basketball Championship game on April 7th. 

The event officially wraps up at 3:00 PM, but the NCAA action keeps rolling into the night at the 101 Bar.
