    Calling all local chefs, home cooks, and restaurants—it’s time to show off your chili skills at Chili Madness 2025! This People’s Choice Competition will determine who reigns supreme as the Best Chili Cooker in the Area.

    🔥 Restaurants vs. Locals – Do you have what it takes to win? Compete head-to-head for the title, bragging rights, and community recognition!

    🔥 Attendees Cast Their Votes – Guests will sample chili from each competitor and vote for their favorite.

    🔥 Winners Announced at 3 PM – The cook with the most votes takes home the travelling trophy!

  • Showcase your business and connect with the community by becoming a Chili Madness Vendor! Set up indoors at the Dayton Valley Golf Club Banquet Room and be part of the excitement while gaining valuable exposure.

    🔹 Engage with Attendees – Guests will visit each vendor table to collect stamps on their March Madness Game Card, making them eligible for prizes—guaranteeing foot traffic to your booth!

    🔹 Support a Great Cause – Vendors are asked to donate an item to the "Make a Difference" Raffle, with proceeds benefiting Central Lyon County Youth.

Join the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce for Chili Madness on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Dayton Valley Golf Club’s 101 Bar and Grill! Enjoy the excitement of the NCAA Round of 32 and help support area youth.

The day kicks off at 9:00 AM with the tipoff of Game 1. Start your morning with a delicious breakfast burrito and meet some of the chili contenders as they gear up for the People’s Choice Chili Cookoff. Chili tasting begins at 11:00 AM and runs until 2:00 PM, with the People’s Choice winner announced at 2:30 PM.

The Madness includes a  human slot machine featuring pinups from the 'Bombshell Betties', a chipping contest into a pot of chili, wild west showdown 'cash play' cornhole, tournament squares, a 50/50, silent auction, raffle and more.

Outside on the porch live music from Carson Chandler from Noon to 3:00 PM.

The event officially wraps up at 3:00 PM, but the games and NCAA action keep rolling into the night at the 101 Bar.
